In 2129, his supply ship left the Kantare colony on Kotara Barath for his homeworld, but was forced to crash-land on an uninhabited planet due to an ion storm.
Kuulan died in the incident though Ezral later receated an hologram of Kuulan identical in appearance and personality. When the Enterprise landed on the planet, Kuulan appeared to them and asked Trip Tucker to help repair the ship's computer. He would lead a band of holographic Kantare in attacking Tucker and T'Pol in order to force them to repair the ship. His existence was wiped out when Liana a survivor of the crash shut down the datachips from a console, causing each Kantare in turn to disappear. (ENT: "Oasis")
