Sheep

A sheep is a variety of ruminant mammal, often raised for their wool or skin.

In 2267, Spock cited an old Earth simile to refer to the inhabitants of Argelius II as being, "as peaceful as sheep." (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold")

In 2372, the Ferengi imposed an six percent tariff on woolen goods they traded with the Karemma, claiming that the tax was added to help offset the "lost income of Tarkalean sheep herders." (DS9: "Starship Down")
