The Laurentian system was a star system in the Milky Way Galaxy. In 2258 of an alternate reality, a large proportion of the Federation Starfleet was present in the system, preventing it from responding to a distress call from Vulcan. After Vulcan's destruction, acting captain Spock of the USS Enterprise planned to take the Enterprise to the Laurentian system to regroup with the fleet, and launch a counter-offensive against the Narada, the vessel responsible for the destruction of Vulcan.
