Lee was a Starfleet engineer that served aboard the USS Enterprise-D on its maiden voyage to Farpoint Station in 2364.

In an alternate timeline, Lee was called to Engineering to assist Miles O'Brien (filling in for the yet-to-arrive Chief Engineer), Fletcher and Munoz in realigning the ship's power grid. (TNG: "All Good Things...")
