M1 Garand

The M1 Garand is a type of projectile weapon known as a semi-automatic rifle and was standard issue to the United States armed forces during World War II.
The United States soldiers at the military base at Roswell continued to use M1 Garand rifles until at least 1947. (DS9: "Little Green Men")
These weapons were prominently used in the holodeck recreation of WWII created by the Hirogen aboard USS Voyager in 2374. Chakotay, Tom Paris and Tuvok all utilized this weapon during the simulation. (VOY: "The Killing Game", "The Killing Game, Part II").
