Memory Alpha:Peer review
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference
The peer review process on Memory Alpha is a way to further improve already good articles, for example as a last step before nominating an article as a Featured article candidate. All contributors are invited to participate in this process.
A list of articles currently being peer reviewed can be found here: Category:Memory Alpha peer review
An archive of previously reviewed articles can be found here: Memory Alpha:Peer review/archive

[edit] Requesting peer review
To request peer review for any article, follow these steps:
- Place the template {{peerreview}} on top of the talk page of that article.
- Click on the "comments" link that appears (it will be red).
- Add ===[[Name of article]]=== (do not forget the brackets) at the top, and below that, give a brief description of what kind of feedback you are looking for.
- On this page, under the section that says "Current Peer Reviews", add the following to the top of the list: {{Talk:Name of article/peerreview}}.
While everyone is still invited to improve the article, requesting peer review first and foremost means that you are willing to actively participate in the process by responding to and resolving issues brought up on the discussion page.
Do not request peer review if the article still has obvious flaws. In that case, consider using one of the Pages needing attention procedures instead. Also do not request peer review if you don't plan to play an active role in the process.
[edit] Removing requests
To avoid having too many processes at a time, inactive peer review discussions are archived by changing the template to {{oldpeerreview}}, which should stay on the articles' talk page. You may change this template back if you want to continue the peer review at a later point. A peer review is considered inactive if there have been no new comments in the last seven days.
Note: Please note that new comments do not show up until either someone modifies this page or the cache is purged. When you visit this page to add a comment, please, click here to purge the page cache.
[edit] Current peer reviews
[edit] Alternate reality
I'm putting this up for peer review mainly to bring it up to snuff with MA standards. - Archduk3:talk 15:25, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Bell Riots
Any comments that helps this article on it way to FA status would be appreciated. The only issue brought up so far has been the time since the last rewrite and lack of community involvement. - Archduk3:talk 08:02, September 30, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Federation history
Added the peer reviewing-template. After I invested some work in the article I think it's time to expose it to some serious constructive critique. --36ophiuchi 19:38, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Romulan history
Let's start a peer review, as this article underwent a nice development over the past months. Anyone with suggestions, comments as to how the article may be further improved? --36ophiuchi 17:49, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Andorian history
- Anyone with comments, suggestions, questions? It would be nice to get this article featured during the next weeks. --36ophiuchi 11:09, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
- There's too many duplicated links! I've removed some of these, but there still seems to be an excess. --Defiant 00:33, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
- Most of this article, or at least large sections of it, do not seem to be particularly written from the Andorians' perspective. I feel it should be more, as the article is titled "Andorian history" and is meant to be primarily from their point-of-view. --Defiant 09:09, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Needs Attention
Compared with other histories such as Romulan history or Human history this article needs attention. It's missing a table of contents, a logo or something similar and a quote would be nice if there is one. DhaliaUnsung 23:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Memorial (episode)
I think this article needs some background info as there is hardly any. The rest of the article is great. DaveSubspace Message 04:48, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
