Macaroni and cheese is a popular Earth recipe, comprised of a pasta, called macaroni, combined with melted cheese.

This recipe was once attempted by Neelix. He used an alien substance called brill cheese, made from schplict (grakel milk), that released a dangerous microbe into the life support systems, infecting a bio-neural gel pack with bacteria. (VOY: "Learning Curve")
