Madison was a Federation researcher involved with Project Genesis under Doctor Carol Marcus.
In 2285, he served with Marcus and her collegues aboard space station Regula I. He was killed by Khan Noonien Singh while attempting to protect the secret of Genesis. (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
Madison was played by actor Russell Takaki.
