Mahler

Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) was a late Romantic Bohemian-Austrian Human composer. Among his works, Symphony No. 1 in D major, also known by its nickname "The Titan", was written in the 1880s.

Mahler's Symphony Number One was played on the ship-wide comm when Kashyk came aboard USS Voyager in 2375. (VOY: "Counterpoint")

The opening of Mahler's Symphony Number One was quoted in Alexander Courage's Star Trek theme.
