Mary Reed was Malcolm Reed's mother and Stuart Reed's wife. During the 2150s, Mary Reed resided in Kota Bharu in Malaysia.

In 2151, Archer contacted her and her husband to find out what Malcolm's favorite food was. He learned that Malcolm had not talked to his parents in years because of his father's disapproval of his joining Starfleet. Mrs. Reed did inform Archer that she did not know Malcolm's favorite food as he never made any special requests for any specific dish. (ENT: "Silent Enemy")
