Masking circuitry is a stealth technology used aboard warships of the Kazon-Nistrim to minimize their sensor signature. However, the circuitry is not nearly as effective as a true cloaking device. The effects of the circuitry can be defeated with a polaron burst. (VOY: "State of Flux")
