Matalas Prime

Matalas Prime was a planet known for its ringed moons.

The planet was visited by the Enterprise NX-01 sometime prior to 2152. That year, Charles Tucker told Zho'Kaan that he had among other things seen the ringed moons of Matalas Prime and therefore would never want to miss his time on the Enterprise. (ENT: "Dawn")

The name is an homage to Terry Matalas, onetime Voyager production assistant and later the assistant to executive producer Brannon Braga.
