Maya was a Kantare female. She was the wife of Ezral and the mother of Liana.

Maya was killed in 2130 when her ship was caught in an ion storm and crash-landed on a planet. In an effort to provide a family for Liana, Ezral created a holographic representation of her, along with other members of the crew, in 2131. When the Enterprise NX-01 landed on the planet, the crew met her, unaware that she was a hologram. When her daughter became friendly with Trip Tucker, she tried to keep them apart. (ENT: "Oasis")

Maya was played by actress Claudette Sutherland.
