McWatt

McWatt was a Starfleet officer who served under Captain Leyton aboard the USS Okinawa when Benjamin Sisko was the ship's XO. In 2372, Leyton, now an admiral, reassigned McWatt as part of his preparations to launch a military coup. (DS9: "Paradise Lost")

This character was named after McWatt, a pilot in Joseph Heller's novel Catch-22.
