Mekor was a Cardassian and the son of Dukat. He was born in 2360.

In 2371, for his eleventh birthday, Dukat promised to take him to the amusement center in Lakarian City. Dukat was unable to keep that promise as he was trying to stop the USS Defiant, which had been captured by the Maquis. Dukat commented to Commander Sisko, that the incident could lead to him looking back on the day with hatred towards the Federation. (DS9: "Defiant")
