Melinda Clarke (born 24 April 1969; age 39) portrayed the Suliban Sarin in the Star Trek: Enterprise pilot "Broken Bow".
Clarke has been married to Star Trek: The Next Generation guest actor Ernie Mirich since 1997. They have one daughter, Kathryn Grace, born in 2001. Clarke has starred in two films, 1997's Critics and other Freaks and 2002's Cold Freak, both produced and directed by her husbands production company "Tattered Souls".
She is likely best known for her regular role as Julie Cooper on the drama series The O.C. Her co-stars have included Alan Dale, Michael Nouri, and Jeri Ryan.
Other roles include the recurring role of Lady Heather on CSI and guest appearances on Firefly (with Ron Glass), Seinfeld (with Jason Alexander and Richard Fancy), Tremors (with Matt Malloy) and Xena: Warrior Princess.
She has also appeared in the films Spawn (with Frank Welker and John Cothran, Jr.) and Mulholland Falls (with Louise Fletcher, Ed Lauter, Michael Krawic, and Titus Welliver).
