Metremia

Metremia is a fatal blood disease caused by high levels of exposure to metreon isotopes, usually resulting from exposure to the metreon cascade weapon. It causes its victims to undergo fission at the atomic level, vaporizing the body through biomolecular disintegration. (VOY: "Jetrel")
