Michael Dunn (20 October 193429 August 1973; age 38) was the actor who portrayed Alexander in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Plato's Stepchildren".

Dunn was born in the United States. As a child, he developed chondrodystrophy, a disease in which the bones stop growing; for this reason, his adult height was just under four feet. He turned to acting after the disorder ruined his elbows, thwarting a career as a pianist. He is best known to fans of television's The Wild Wild West as the brilliant, twisted Dr. Miguelito Loveless. He also was a talented singer, with many well-attended singing engagements at major venues during the 1960s. He worked steadily from his debut in 1963, until his death (from complications of the disorder) in 1973; he was filming a movie when he died.
