Michael Westmore, Jr. is the son of makeup artist Michael Westmore. He worked on the later seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: The Next Generation as an assistant editor, editor, and prosthetic technician. He was also credited with "electronic appliances" on Star Trek: First Contact. On that film, he worked on eyepieces for the Borg and the electronics show on Data's head.
During the time of filming of Star Trek: First Contact, he had a dog named "Bonnie." [1]
He is also credited with writing a section of the Star Trek: The Next Generation Makeup FX Journal about electronic special effects.
