At least two log military log entries was made by Captain Jean-Luc Picard aboard the USS Enterprise-D during the encounter with the USS Enterprise-C in 2366. (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise")

• "Military log, supplemental. Lieutenant Natasha Yar has transferred to the Enterprise-C, where she has taken over tactical duties. Meanwhile, our long-range scanners have picked up Klingon battle cruisers on an intercept course."
