Mimas, named after the son of Gaia, one of the Titans slain by Heracles in Terran Greek mythology, is the first moon of Saturn, the sixth planet in the Sol system.
In 2368, the moon was home to an emergency evacuation station for the Academy Flight Range in orbit of Saturn. (TNG: "The First Duty")
