Modean system

The Modean system is a star system with at least one planet which contained non-humanoid inhabitants.

When Geordi La Forge was a child, he would periodically live with his father or mother at their respective Starfleet postings. For a time Geordi lived his father in the Modean system while Dr. Edward La Forge was stationed there studying invertebrates. (TNG: "Imaginary Friend")
