Molor

In Klingon traditional history, Molor was a hated tyrant who ruled Qo'noS approximately 1,500 years ago. Molor was said to be so strong that no man could oppose him, except one: Kahless the Unforgettable. Kahless killed Molor with a newly forged sword, which came to be known as the Sword of Kahless, and founded the Klingon Empire, becoming the greatest warrior in Klingon history. Molor's defeat is celebrated yearly with the observance of the Kot'baval Festival.

His death is a popular topic in Klingon drinking songs.

Some entrepreneurs on Maranga IV claim to have Molor's mummified head on display for a fee of fifty darseks per person. Their claim is unlikely to be true, however.

Such a claim, though, indicates that customers could believe it to be true and may be a reference to Klingon mummification.
