Motherlode is a planet located in the Arcadian system that did not recognize Federation law during the latter half of the 23rd century.

Harry Mudd attempted to exploit the heavy metal miners on the planet in 2269 by selling them an illegal love potion. (TAS: "Mudd's Passion")
