Mountain was a team that played a popular sport on Kelemane's planet. It held a rivalry with Lakeside.

The Doctor, a fan of Mountain, once watched the great Torelius defend for Mountain in a game against Red River.

At the time of the Orbital 1 launch, Mountain was having a rough season. Their win-loss record was 5-12 even with the grandson of the Torelius guarding for them. The Doctor remarked that the original Torelius would have gone into voluntary exile after a 5-12 season. (VOY: "Blink of an Eye")
