Navaar was an Orion female and a sister of D'Nesh and Maras. When Jonathan Archer visited their ship, she and her sisters entertained him by putting on a seductive dance.

In late 2154, Navaar and her sisters were given to Jonathan Archer by Harrad-Sar, in a plot to disable the NX class starship Enterprise and capture Archer. She and her sisters exposed the crew to a very potent pheromone that put all the men on the ship in a state of aggression, caused delusions and made them very open to suggestion. When Archer told her that she was not his property, she asked if she could still please him. He had her arrested when he found a communicator in her quarters, she escaped. She managed to seduce him and convinced him to arrest T'Pol, who was not affected by Orion female pheromones. The plot was foiled by Tucker who, like T'Pol, was unaffected by the pheromone.
