Nikki Tyler (now credited as Nikki Tyler-Flynn) is the actress who played Seven of Nine's mother, Erin Hansen, in the Star Trek: Voyager episodes "Scorpion, Part II" and "The Raven".
Tyler's previous television experience included two episodes of The John Larroquette Show, an episode of Murphy Brown, and an episode of 3rd Rock from the Sun. She was later seen on such programs as Seven Days (with Norman Lloyd, Scarlett Pomers, and Alan Scarfe), 7th Heaven (starring Stephen Collins), Malcolm in the Middle, and Desperate Housewives (starring Teri Hatcher, Alfre Woodard, and Mark Moses). In the latter, she appeared as a nurse for a character played by Bob Gunton. Tyler has also been seen in the films Me, Myself & Irene and Osmosis Jones (the latter featuring the voice of William Shatner).
At present, Tyler has a recurring role on the hit sitcom The King of Queens. Other Star Trek performers she has worked with on this show are Lisa Banes and Dakin Matthews.
