The Northern Foothills are a group of small hills located north of the Cygniai Expanse on the desert planet known as the Torothan homeworld.

A type of cactus, which grows in the Northern Foothills region of the planet, is used as the primary ingredient for a wine called yalasat. (ENT: "Desert Crossing")
