Ohniaka III Research Station

The Ohniaka III Research Station was a Federation science station on planet Ohniaka III without strategic importance. The outpost was staffed by 274 Starfleet personnel.

In 2369, this outpost was attacked, and all personnel were lost. The attack was later discovered to be the work of a previously unknown group of self-aware, fanatical Borg, controlled by a figure known as "The One", later revealed to be the Soong-type android named Lore. (TNG: "Descent")

The exterior of the station was a slightly modified matte painting of the Darwin Genetic Research Station originally created by Illusion Arts for the TNG episode "Unnatural Selection".
