Orion colony
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.
The Orion colony circa 2254.
The Orion colony was a well-known colony established by the Orions as a trade center for their slave market, notably for the sale of Orion slave girls during the mid-23rd century.
The Talosians established an illusionary version of the Orion colony for the captive Christopher Pike, where Vina was portrayed as a slave girl. (TOS: "The Cage", "The Menagerie, Part II")
- Pike's illusory guest's remark--"It's funny the way they are here. They actually like being taken advantage of"--is one of several pieces of "The Cage" not fitted into "The Menagerie". The visuals of the fantasized colony scene, howver, are used in their entirety.
