A parole officer is an individual who supervises convicted criminals who have been released from prison before their sentence was completed.
Within the Vic Fontaine holoprogram, the character of Tony Cicci stated that he would not feed a cheesesteak sandwich he disliked to his parole officer. (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
