Miss Piper was 23rd century Starfleet adjutant to Commodore José I. Mendez on Starbase 11. Miss Piper was friends with Lieutenant Helen Johansson, a mutual friend of James T. Kirk.
Miss Piper greeted the landing party from the USS Enterprise when it arrived at the starbase in 2267. She later observed the disappearance of Christopher Pike from his quarters on the base. (TOS: "The Menagerie, Part I")
