A plasma grenade is a type of weapon used by various groups and races. Tri-nitrogen chloride is used in them.

In 2366, the Bajoran Resistance attemped to assassinate Gul Dukat with a plasma grenade on the Promenade of Terok Nor. (DS9: "Things Past")
