A polaric particle is a type of unusual subatomic particle.
Doctor Elias Giger's "cellular regeneration and entertainment chamber" generated highly charged polaric particles during operation. In 2373, these particles attracted the attention of Weyoun, whose guest quarters on Deep Space 9 were above Giger's. (DS9: "In the Cards")
Polaric particles are possibly related to or identical to polaric ions.
