Beta Geminorum (also called Pollux) is a star located in Federation space; the primary of the Beta Geminorum system. (TOS: "Who Mourns for Adonais?")
Beta Geminorum was mentioned as a small note on a very large star chart graphic created for TNG: "Conspiracy". It was the image behind the chair in the room where Dexter Remmick was killed.
It is probably best not to examine the distance values on that chart very closely, as it portrays Pollux IV as being several star systems away from Beta Geminorum, the star it supposedly orbits.
