Porta

Porta was a Bajoran vedek in 2372 when he traveled to Deep Space 9.
Porta believed in the historic Bajoran caste system of d'jarra which prohibited members of certain families from assuming roles within the religious hierarchy. One such family was that of Imutta. When the d'jarra system was briefly reinstated under much controversy in 2372, Porta made his support public when he admitted to the murder of Imutta for daring to act as a vedek despite his family's caste. (DS9: "Accession")
Porta was played by Robert Symonds.
