Pot roast

Pot roast was a Human food made of braised beef.

When forced to temporarily relocate to the cramped catwalk aboard Enterprise in September of 2152, Chef continued to serve his role as ship's head cook. His meal of choice, at the time, was pot roast, a dish he served three times in three days, much to Malcolm Reed's discomfort. (ENT: "The Catwalk")

In 2372, the thermal array in Neelix's kitchen on USS Voyager overloaded, vaporizing an entire pot roast. Samantha Wildman identified the problem as faulty anodyne relays. (VOY: "Deadlock")

In 2375, Neelix suffered from nihiliphobia and claimed that this was much more than simple anxiety, a condition he would experience when burning a pot roast. (VOY: "Night")

In 2376, Captain Janeway prepared pot roast when she invited Lyndsay Ballard to dinner in her quarters. However, her infamous replicator liquefied the pot roast and they were forced to eat peanut butter sandwiches instead. While listing ways of fending off Kobali warships, Ballard said "does that include your pot roast?", before realizing that she had insulted a superior officer and apologizing. Captain Janeway said she found it funny. (VOY: "Ashes to Ashes")

In 2377, Janeway dismantled her replicator after burning yet another pot roast, which she had intended to serve at a dinner with Chakotay. Janeway claimed it was the replicator's revenge for her once referring to it as a "glorified toaster." (VOY: "Shattered")
