The Predator-class was a class of warship utilized by the Kazon during the 2370s. This class of starship was equipped with plasma torpedoes.
In a holographic scenario experienced by The Doctor, he is told by B'Elanna Torres that USS Voyager had been attacked by two Predator-class warships which had taken the ship by surprise. The two ships had apparently hit Voyager with a volley of plasma torpedoes, which initiated a core breach and forced the crew to abandon ship. (VOY: "Projections")
According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, the Kazon carrier vessel and the Predator-class were one and the same, however, no other on-screen or production sources can confirm this assertion.
