Research Station 75

Research Station 75 was a Federation science station on the fringes of Federation space, approximately two weeks by scout ship from Romulan territory.

In 2369, Ensign DeSeve, a Federation defector who had spent twenty years on Romulus returned to Federation space at Research Station 75 bearing a message from Ambassador Spock for Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Unknown to either of them the message's instructions to rendezvous with a Corvallen freighter in the Kaleb sector was a crucial component to assist in the defection of Vice-proconsul M'ret.
