Ricard Ortega-Miro (aka Richard Miro) is an actor who portrayed tactical officer Rainer in the 1994 Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Thine Own Self".

Though his performance on TNG was his first on-screen appearance, he went on to play roles in numerous other productions. Shortly after his Star Trek debut, Ortega-Miro appeared in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 entitled "Acting Out" (alongside Kerrie Keane, Tracy Middendorf, Bill Mondy, and Noley Thornton).

After several small roles, Ortega-Miro appeared in an episode of JAG entitled "War Cries" (alongside Paul Collins and Gail Strickland). He went on to perform in several other series, including NYPD Blue and The Tony Danza Show. In 2004, Ortega-Miro appeared in "After the Fall", an episode of CSI: Miami (alongside Holmes Osborne and David Lee Smith). His most recent professional contribution was as a voice actor for 2005's The Madagascar Penguins in A Christmas Caper (alongside Rif Hutton).

Ortega-Miro is currently a voice contributor for the dramatic podcast Virgin Falls. [1]
