Richard Penn is an actor and voice artist who provided additional background voices for Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Tears of the Prophets" for example, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. [1] He also did voice work for the video games Star Trek: Armada, Star Trek: Invasion, Star Trek: Voyager - Elite Force, and Star Trek: Elite Force II. He voiced Borg characters in the latter three games.

As an actor, Penn has had minor roles in films such as Sleepwalkers (1992, starring Alice Krige and Ron Perlman), Volcano (1997, starring Jacqueline Kim, John Carroll Lynch, and James MacDonald), Doctor Dolittle (1998), Inspector Gadget (1999, featuring Rene Auberjonois, Andy Dick, Brian George, Brad Blaisdell, Johnny Martin, and Michael McAdam) and The Last Shot (2004, with Glenn Morshower). He has also appeared on such TV shows as Murphy Brown, ER, The West Wing, Friends, and Desperate Housewives, in addition to a recurring role on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful.
