Ensign Rivers was a 22nd century Earth Starfleet engineering officer.

Rivers served aboard the Enterprise NX-01 as a member of the same engineering team with Crewman Jane Taylor during the search for the Xindi superweapon from 2153–2154. (ENT: "The Forgotten")

Rivers was assigned to the Columbia under Captain Erika Hernandez in 2154.

He was assigned by Chief Engineer Trip Tucker to work with Strong in recalibrating the injector assembly in order to assist getting the Columbia's field matrix down to 0.3 microns. (ENT: "Affliction")

Rivers was played by famed cartoonist Seth MacFarlane in a cameo. He was not identified by name until his second appearance. The Star Trek Customizable Card Game gives his first name as Stewart.
