Robert Blackman (born 19 August) was a costume designer on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. He also worked on Star Trek Generations and designed the Starfleet uniforms introduced in Star Trek: First Contact and subsequently used on DS9, VOY, Star Trek: Insurrection, and Star Trek Nemesis.
He discusses creating costumes for The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine in the special features in the TNG Season 7 DVD and the DS9 Season 4 DVD.
Blackman has won three Emmy Awards for his costume designs on TNG, specifically for the episodes "Cost of Living" and "Time's Arrow, Part II". He also received additional Emmy nominations for the TNG episodes "Devil's Due" and "All Good Things...", VOY's "Caretaker", "False Profits", "Muse" and "Shattered", and DS9's "The Muse" and "Far Beyond the Stars".
