Robert Harper

Robert Harper (born 19 May 1951; age 58) is an actor from New York, New York, who played Lathal Bine in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Host".
Outside of Star Trek, he has appeared in the TV series L.A. Law, which featured Diana Muldaur, he has also appeared on Murphy Brown, Law & Order, Roseanne, and Commander in Chief. Robert starred on the short lived ABC TV series Philly from 2001-2002 as Judge Irwin Hayes.
Harper has also starred in some feature films. His first film role was in the 1981 cult movie Mommie Dearest; other roles were in the 1982 George A. Romero/Stephen King movie Creepshow (with Adrienne Barbeau, Fritz Weaver, Jon Lormer, and Don Keefer), Dempsey (1983, with Sally Kellerman, Peter Mark Richman, Estee Chandler, John McLiam, Mark L. Taylor and Star Trek: First Contact stuntperson Jimmy Nickerson), the hit comedy movie Twins (1988, with Nehemiah Persoff, Tony Jay, Tom McCleister, Dendrie Taylor, Wayne Grace, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), Gunmen (1994, with Patrick Stewart and Christopher Michael), Final Analysis (1992 with Harris Yulin, Erick Avari, George Murdock, and Jack Shearer), Deconstructing Harry (1997), The Insider (1999, with Bruce McGill, Vyto Ruginis, Joseph Hindy, and James Harper), and Molly (1999, with Brian George, Musetta Vander, Vinny Argiro, and Athena Massey).
