Roy Orbison (1936-1988) was a 20th century Human musician from Earth.
Orbison performed the song Ooby Dooby, a favorite of Zefram Cochrane's that he enjoyed listening to on a jukebox at the Montana settlement from which he launched the Phoenix. (Star Trek: First Contact)
The Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "The Forsaken" was originally titled "Only the Lonely" after Orbison's song. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion)
