Saturn V

The Saturn V was a multistage, liquid-fueled rocket used by NASA during the mid-1960s through the mid-1970s for the Apollo and Skylab programs.
Images of the rocket's design were contained in the library computer aboard the USS Enterprise. (TOS: "The Cage")
- The rocket shown in TOS: "Assignment: Earth" would seem to be stock footage of a Saturn V matted into the McKinley Rocket Base scene. The images of the missile in space shown on the Beta 5 computer screen is apparently from film taken during the Apollo 4 interstage separation sequence.
