Sensor analyst

A sensor analyst is an astrometrics specialization and a position in Starfleet's engineering division. One with this position would normally be stationed in a Stellar Cartography department and spend the bulk of their assignments carrying out astrological scans and analyzing sensor results.

A specialist in this field can have a grade of three. (VOY: "Good Shepherd")
