Shianna was a Haliian and the sister of Starfleet officer Aquiel Uhnari.

Shianna and her sister were very close to each other and Aquiel told her things she told onone else. In 2369, Aquiel sent several messages from onboard Relay Station 47 to her sister on Halii, in which she talked about her dreams about the Uhnari's house, her new colleague Keith Rocha and her regret she couldn't be present to sing the Horath at the Batarael.
