Sigma Eridani

Sigma Eridani was a star system. In 2366, the USS Grissom was in this system when contacted by the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "The Most Toys")

The name "Sigma Eridani" would indicate a star located in the constellation Eridanus, but there is no current known "Sigma" star known to astronomers on Earth.
