A sonic grenade is a type of field weapon used by Klingon occupational forces during the mid-23rd century.

In 2267, James T. Kirk and Spock used a captured sonic grenade to destroy a Klingon munitions dump on Organia while trapped behind enemy lines on that planet. (TOS: "Errand of Mercy")
